What to Expect

Book your FREE skin assessment with a Chapter expert and we’ll make sure we can address your areas of concerns and how much Xeomin® we recommend. We’ll get you all set and ready to go! Here are a few other tips:

3-5 days before your treatment:
  • Avoid alcohol (we’ll pop the bubbly later).
  • Avoid blood thinners like Advil, Aspirin & Aleve.
2 days before your treatment:
  • Put the breaks on applying retinol.

You’ll sit down in one of our comfy chairs, maybe even chat up your nurse practitioner, and before you know it, your treatment will be complete! Seriously, it takes less than 30 minutes.

Your nurse practitioner will give you a series of small injections directly into the targeted muscle groups. You might experience some discomfort like a small pinch during the procedure, but nothing you can’t handle.

Now you just have to wait a few days to a week and your results will kick in! (Results vary person to person). Enjoy your smooth skin for 3-4 months post Xeomin® treatment.

We recommend you avoid the gym or heavy exercise for a couple of days to maximize the treatment’s effectiveness. Hot girl walks are still on the table.

We got to tell you about the side effects just in case.

  • Mild pain or discomfort at the injection site
  • Swelling
  • Bruising

It's important to consult with your Chapter nursing specialist to discuss the risks and benefits of Botox treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Xeomin and Botox are very similar in that they both reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Xeomin injections use IncobotulinumtoxinA, a simplified form of the botulinum toxin type A used in Botox injections. Xeomin injections generally lead to faster treatment results than Botox®, but Botox is FDA-approved to treat more conditions. A major difference is that Xeomin's protein structure makes patients less likely to develop treatment-resistant antibodies in comparison to Botox. We think of them like tap water and bottled (Xeomin being bottled). It has purer ingredients and doesn’t have anything you don’t need. Many guests also report feeling less “frozen” with Xeomin than with Botox.

Yes, Chapter’s nurse specialists provide safe and effective Xeomin injections. Xeomin is considered a safe and effective treatment when administered by a trained and licensed medical professional. However, it's important to disclose any medical conditions or allergies to the provider before receiving treatment.

The cost of Xeomin treatments can vary depending on the provider, location, and the amount of product needed for the desired results. Xeomin is similar in price to Botox® in many situations, and Chapter’s Botox services start at $11.49 per unit for members and $13.52 per unit for non-members. Generally, good candidates for Xeomin® are individuals over the age of 18 who are looking to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on their face. However, it's important to consult with your nearest Chapter nursing specialist to determine if Xeomin® is right for you.

Common side effects of Xeomin include mild pain or discomfort at the injection site, swelling, and bruising. It's important to consult with your Chapter nursing specialist to discuss the risks and benefits of Xeomin treatments.

Xeomin results typically last between three to four months, depending on the individual and the treated area. Regular maintenance treatments are required to maintain the results.

Yes, Xeomin can be combined with other treatments at our Chapter Aesthetic studios, such as dermal fillers or chemical peels to achieve a more comprehensive rejuvenation of the skin.

There is typically no downtime or recovery time needed after a Xeomin treatment. Guests can return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure.

Most people find that Xeomin injections are relatively painless. However, some may experience mild discomfort or a slight pinch during the injection process. If you’re one of those people with a lower pain tolerance, our experts are glad to give you some numbing cream to make the experience as comfortable as possible!
